La Asamblea General y las Convenciones son un tiempo de celebración familiar para los nazarenos alrededor del mundo. Especialmente ahora que, a través de los sitios regionales y de la transmisión en línea, podemos comunicarnos con delegados en diferentes parte del mundo y crear oportunidades para que haya más personas involucradas en la toma de decisiones, en el desarrollo de la visión y los tiempos de inspiración.
Tengo que reconocer también que siempre me veo con sentimientos encontrados, porque es lindo ver a familiares y amigos que por mucho tiempo no he visto, pero luego es difícil despedirse sin saber cuándo será la próxima vez que nos veremos. Sin embargo, me anima recordar que hay un lazo más fuerte que el estar congregados en un lugar (o lugares), y es el estar conectados íntimamente con nuestro Señor y ser parte de su misión –no importa donde estemos. Especialmente como JNI, esta convención me deja la firme convicción de que lo mejor está por venir: que cada día veremos más y más jóvenes involucrados en el Evangelismo, el Discipulado y el Desarrollo de Líderes (BE.DO.GO).

General Assembly and Conventions are a family celebration time for Nazarenes around the world. Even more today, with the regionals sites and online transmissions we can communicate with delegates from around the world and creating opportunities for more people involved in the decisions taken, in the development of the vision, and inspiring times.
I must recognize I have mixed feelings here. It is nice to see family and friends long time no seen, but it is hard to say good-by not knowing when will be next time we meet again. However, it encourages me to remind that there is a stronger tie than being congregate in a place or places, and it is to be intimately connected with our Lord. We are part of His vision; it doesn’t matter where we are. As a NYI member, this convention leaves me with the firm feeling that the better part of it is still coming. We will see more and more youth in evangelism, in discipleship, and the leadership development every day. (BE.DO.GO).
