Nuestro hermano Carlos electo miembro de Junta de MNI Global en la AG 2013, comparte en la siguiente nota sobre su experiencia en el tiempo de la Asamblea General.
En mi iglesia, la Sexta del Nazareno en Xalapa, se notaba el entusiasmo por asistir a las Convenciones y Asamblea.
Cuatro miembros de la iglesia fuimos electos para representar al Distrito Golfo de México y otros ocho hermanos se nos unieron como visitantes. No nos arrepentimos, disfrutamos de unos días inolvidables en la presencia de Nuestro Dios.
La sala de exposiciones, la organización y la oportunidad de saludar a hermanos amados que no habíamos visto en mucho tiempo y conocer a otros que ya tienen un lugar en nuestro corazón, nos bendijo ricamente. La enseñanza y los recursos de los talleres, las reuniones de negocios, las juntas plenarias, pero sobre todo los cultos vespertinos con sus cantos y Dios usando a sus mensajeros con palabras de poder y reto fueron un banquete espiritual. Pensé que deberíamos hacer unas enramadas y quedarnos en lo alto del monte, pero el Señor nos dijo: «tienen que bajar y compartir en sus lugares de origen lo que aquí han recibido» en otras palabras, vayan a cumplir LA GRAN COMISIÓN.

Carlos Gilberto Quijano, Mexico Golf District NMI President, was elected GA2013 Global Board NMI Member.
My church is the 6TA Church of the Nazarene in Xalapa, Veracruz and everybody was very enthusiastic to come to the Conventions and Assembly. Four members of the church were elected to represent our District and eight others joined us as visitors. We do not regret it. We have enjoyed each unforgettable day in our God’s presence. We were blessed by the display room, the organization, and the opportunity of greeting long time no seen brothers and sisters and meeting new ones who already have a place in our hearts as well.
The teachings and the workshops, the business meetings, the plenary sessions, but above it all, the evening services with the worshiping; and God using His messengers with power and challenging words was a spiritual banquet. I thought we should build an arbor and stay at the top of the mountain, but the Lord told us: “You have to come down and share what you have received in the places where you were born». In other words, go fulfill The Great Commission.
