Acciones tomadas el lunes 24 de Junio:
- En los distritos donde se tienen co-superintendentes, ambos estarán sentados pero sólo uno tendrá voz y voto, mientras que el otro no. (SR-751, modificada)
- Se adopta el reporte donde se recomienda la elección de seis superintendentes generales.
- Se adopta el reporte de hacer balotas en sábado en grupos regionales pequeños para llenar las vacantes del concilio de Superintendentes Generales. Esto se ha practicado desde la Asamblea General de 2001.
- Se remueve el requisito de edad para que un superintendente general reciba el “estatus de retirado” (anteriormente 68 años), y recibir el estatus de emérita o emérito (anteriormente 65). (SR-759 y 760)
- Se le otorga el status de retirado y se honra con el título de Superintendente General Emérito a Jesse C. Middendorf.
- Se honra a Stan A. Toler con el título de Superintendente General Emérito por su retiro.
- Acciones tomadas con respecto a “Iglesia en Crisis” no requieren la aprobación del Superintendente General, pero el Superintendente General en jurisdicción requiere ser notificado de las acciones distritales tomadas en un máximo de 30 días. (LA-414)
- Los delegados a la asamblea de una iglesia -tipo misión (ITM) pueden ser nombrados por el pastor de ITM basado en el criterio esbozado en el Manual. El pastor puede nombrar también los delegados a las convenciones distritales de acuerdo con el criterio de gobierno de la convención. (LA-421).
- Las Iglesias deben proveer a los pastores de la licencia sabática (en lugar de seguir) durante el séptimo año de servicio ininterrumpidos en la iglesia. (LA-424)
- Se votó para mantener la Asamblea General cada cuatro años, rechazando GA-301, que sugiere tener el evento cada cinco años. (GA-301)
- Se otorga el poder al Concilio de Superintendentes Generales (CSG) para que autoricen sitios simultáneos para futuras Asambleas Generales. (GA-302a). A muchos delegados le son negadas la visa para entrar al país anfitrión, entonces los sitios simultáneos permitirán una mejor participación. La tecnología brindará a éstos la alternativa de los sitios y así poder participar en discusiones y votaciones.
- Rechazada la resolución del Concilio General (GA-310a) para cambiar el número del umbral de la membresía basada en elevar la base de representación de 100,000 miembros a 150,000. La propuesta reduciría el número de miembros en el Concilio General de 48 miembros actualmente a 32. Actualmente el área Estados Unidos/Canadá tiene 20 miembros en el concilio y tendría 10 con la propuesta, mientras que otras tres regiones se reducirían de seis cada una a cuatro, y la Región África tendría de seis actualmente a ocho miembros.
- La Región Estados Unidos/Canadá actualmente tiene el 30 por ciento de los Nazarenos, las Regiones Suramérica y Mesoamérica juntas tienen el 28 por ciento de la membresía de la denominación y la Región África tiene el 26 por ciento de los Nazarenos.

Actions taken Monday, June 24:
• Where a district has co-superintendents, both shall be seated, but only one shall have voice and vote, while the other will have neither. (SR-751, as amended)
• Adopted a report recommending the election of six general superintendents.
• Adopted a report making the ballot taken Saturday in regional caucuses the first ballot to fill the vacancies on the Board of General Superintendents. This has been a practice since the 2001 General Assembly.
• Removed the age requirements for a general superintendent to receive “retired status” (formerly age 68), and to receive emerita/emeritus status (formerly 65). (SR-759 and 760)
• Jesse C. Middendorf granted retired status and honored with the title general superintendent emeritus.
• Stan A. Toler honored with the title general superintendent emeritus upon his retirement.
• District actions regarding a “church in crisis” will no longer require general superintendent approval, but the G.S. in jurisdiction must be notified of district actions within 30 days. (LA-414)
• District assembly delegates from a church-type mission (CTM) may be appointed by the CTM pastor based on criteria outlined in the Manual. The pastor may also appoint delegates to district conventions according to criteria governing that convention. (LA-421).
• Churches should provide a sabbatical leave for pastors during (rather than following) the seventhyear of the pastor’s consecutive service to one church. (LA-424)
• Voted to retain a quadrennial General Assembly, rejecting GA-301, which sought to move the event to every fifth year. (GA-301)
• Empowered the BGS to authorize simultaneous sites for future General Assemblies. (GA-302a). Many delegates are unable to obtain visas to enter the host nation, so simultaneous sites would allow greater participation. Technologies will be used to bring those at the alternate sites into the discussion and voting.
• Rejected a resolution from the General Board (GA-310a) to change the numerical threshold upon which General Board membership is based by raising the basis of representation from 100,000 members to 150,000. The proposal would have reduced the size of the General Board from its current 48 members to 32. USA/Canada currently has 20 members on the board and would have had 10 under the proposal, while three other regions would have dropped from six each to four each, and the Africa Region would have gone from six to eight members.
The USA/Canada Region currently is the home of 30 percent of Nazarenes, the South America and Mesoamerica regions together comprise 28 percent of denominational membership, and the Africa Region is home to 26 percent of Nazarenes.
